Redwood is a California solar and home-energy information project. For help with an existing installation, bill or warranty, start with the provider responsible for it.
Questions about a bill or interconnection
Begin with the electricity provider listed on the account. Have your bill, rate schedule, interconnection details and a short description of the question available. If a separate electricity generation provider appears on the bill, establish which organization is responsible for the disputed item.

Questions about an installer or contract
For installation defects or warranty service, begin with the contractor or equipment provider named in your contract. Keep photographs, dates, correspondence and the relevant warranty language together.
- Check a California contractor license ↗

Prepare for the conversation
Keep a short record
- The property’s electricity provider and applicable rate schedule.
- The company and equipment model named in the contract.
- The date the issue started and what has changed.
- Relevant bills, agreements, photographs and prior correspondence.
- The specific answer or action you are asking for.
Do not include passwords, full account identifiers or sensitive documents in a general public enquiry. Use the recipient’s official secure process when those details are required.
Following an old Redwood contact link?
Historical contact details belonged to the former company. This publication cannot verify that those channels still reach the relevant people and does not provide support under the former company’s contracts.
The history note explains the distinction. Historical documents are retained as reference material, not as evidence of a current commercial relationship.
